Diabetes log for dogs and cats: insulin, glucose and curve days

Living with a diabetic pet means two injections a day, a meter, and often two people sharing the job. NOKA Sugar keeps one shared record, so everyone knows what was given and when.

NOKA Sugar home: insulin last given 10 minutes ago by Anna — nothing for you to do.

Nobody doses twice.

The top of the screen always says when insulin was last given, and by whom. Morning and evening, whoever is home, the answer is one glance away.

A diabetes diary built for two caregivers

A glucose reading entered in mmol/L, saved exactly as the meter shows it.

Your meter’s numbers, as they are

Choose mmol/L or mg/dL once. Blood glucose readings are saved exactly as your meter shows them and never converted.

A finished curve day: seven glucose readings from 8 AM to 8 PM and the lowest reading.

Glucose curve days that run themselves

Seven readings across the day, quiet reminders and shifts split between caregivers. The finished curve states the facts: the lowest reading and when it happened.

The vet report: doses by caregiver, glucose readings and meals.

One page for your vet

Doses by caregiver, readings, meals and lab results, ready for the next visit. Bring glucose sensor history too, from its CSV export.

Pet diabetes at home: questions

How do two people avoid giving insulin twice?

Each person adds themselves as a caregiver. When anyone logs a dose, the home screen shows when it was given and by whom, for everyone in the household.

Does it work with mmol/L and mg/dL?

Yes. Pick the unit your meter uses; readings are stored exactly as entered and never converted.

Can I import readings from a glucose sensor?

Yes, from the sensor app’s CSV export. Imported readings are kept visibly apart from the ones you typed.

Will NOKA Sugar suggest an insulin dose?

Never. The dose is whatever your vet wrote down. NOKA Sugar records what was given and never gives dosing or treatment advice.
