NOKA Breathe, NOKA Kidney and NOKA Sugar are built to know as little as possible. This page says exactly what they know, where that lives, and what they never do.
On your phone
Your pets and everything you record about them — counts, readings, doses, fluids, meals, lab results, medications, notes, photos and settings — are stored on your device. Reminders are scheduled on the phone itself. Photos and videos you attach stay on the device unless you share them yourself. Nothing leaves it unless you turn on backup or create a share link.
Backup, if you turn it on
Backup is optional. If you turn it on, you sign in with an email address and a one-time code, and your records are copied to your own account on our hosting provider so they can reach a second device or a new phone. Only you can read them. Turning backup off and deleting the account removes them. You can also export a backup file and keep it wherever you choose.
Share links, if you make one
A share link shows one pet’s chart, read-only, to whoever has the link. You can revoke it at any time in the app, and it stops working immediately.
No analytics, no ads, no cookies
The apps and this website contain no analytics or advertising code, and nothing is sold or shared for tracking. This website sets no cookies. Your language choice is kept in your browser’s local storage, on your device.
